So as to boost students’ safety awareness and help them master the basic security treatment knowledge, on the afternoon of 28th November, at the lecture hall, all students from Grade 7 of Anqing Foreign Language School attended the seminar conducted by two teachers with Municipal Red Cross Society and Anqing Humanity Hospital.
The lecture consisted of two sessions. In the first place, the highlight centered on the explanation concerning security rescue knowledge. The teacher pointed out the common incorrect treatment cases such as empyrosis& applying some toothpaste, choking on a fish bone, nosebleed& raising head, old man’s tumbling& hastily helping him up and so on. Other than that, the teacher analyzed the reasons behind the inappropriate measures and put forward correct medical treatment, which benefited students a lot. Moreover, the trainer introduced the methods on how to avoid injuries and self-assistance for students participating in campus sports activities.
In the second place, the main content focused on CPR (other known as cardiopulmonary resuscitation) experimental field presentation. To begin with, the trainer proceeded detailed introduction with regard to the procedures of cardiopulmonary resuscitation. Furthermore, the teacher carried through the on-site demo, which let students closely comprehend the rescue steps.
In closing, the symposium concluded in warm applause. By means of this seminar, not only did students enhance their safety treatment consciousness, but also gained plenty of common sense on medical rescue, benefiting themselves a lot.
